Mr. Mike Marshall, PE, is an industry expert in power system engineering, reliability, resiliency, planning, power quality, and the integration of battery energy storage, wind, and solar generation. Beginning his career in 1982, Mr. Marshall worked for two major investor-owned utilities before moving into senior leadership roles with several engineering consulting firms, where he led teams providing technical consulting services to utilities throughout North America and internationally. He later served as a power systems subject matter expert for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory before founding DRG Technical Solutions in 2021. Mr. Marshall is a frequent invited speaker and conference panelist and has authored or co-authored more than 40 articles published in industry magazines, technical conference proceedings, and other professional publications.
