Abbot Moffat is Director of Partnerships and Projects at CMBLU Energy, where he builds relationships with industry-leading partners in critical infrastructure. He has spent decades getting skeptical regulators and Fortune 50 clients to say yes to new energy technology — including a program that helped change how California licenses fuel cells in hospitals. As part of his role, Abbot spearheads CMBLU's Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 9540 listing process and leads its U.S. service organization. Before CMBLU, he was West Coast Director of Business Development at Rubicon Professional Services, where he built a field services organization that scaled to 13 technicians and up to 60 contracted, specialized field laborers, bringing in more than $18 million in field-services contracts in its first 12 months. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from California College of the Arts and a California General Contractor's License.
